Wesclean Northern Sales was founded by John W. Mapes in 1975 in Hay River, NWT. John’s vision when he began selling janitorial supplies was to provide a better supply of products to customers throughout the North.

Today, Wesclean is owned by John’s son Brad Mapes, and operates out of a 7500 square foot facility at its current location at 15 Industrial Drive. Wesclean Northern Sales now employs over 25 staff and for the past 25 + years has been providing superior customer service to its clientele.

At Wesclean we provide professional service in janitorial products, interior design, paint, sundries, flooring and wall coverings. A wide range of area rugs, prints, mirrors, Lampe Berger home fragrances, Belwith cabinet hardware, Estate Home Accent address plaques, Kitras art glass, Hunter Douglas window coverings and many other specialty products are available at our Hay River retail location.

With a present staff of 24 people, the growth of Wesclean Northern Sales has been facilitated by the dedication and hard work of its staff and the support from customers for over 33 years.
