Group and Private Yoga classes
Originally from India, Jayshree was first introduced to yoga by her Father when she was 12 years old. With yoga’s roots in India, and her father’s passion for yoga, it was only natural that she would practice yoga herself in the years to come. However, it wasn’t until she suffered severe back pain issues and stress from corporate environment that she embraced yoga back into her life to help with her physical and emotional well being.
She practiced Yoga regularly since 2001, within 3 months of practicing 6 days a week, she saw such transformations both in the physical and emotional areas that she was hooked. In 2003 she took a teachers training at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in the Himalayas in India, to get deeper into her understanding and the alignment principles of the physical practice of yoga.
Jayshree is passionate about yoga and emphasizes the role of yoga as a complete holistic method that includes the study of nutrition, meditation, and breath control. She encourages students to witness their own experience of yoga without judgment. She teaches groups and private lessons, for both adults and children.
