Newtown-Lumsden Pastoral Charge are four worshipping congregations on the north east coast of Newfoundland and Labrador. We serve the communities of Cape Freels, Deadman's Bay, Lumsden, Newtown, Pound Cove and Templeman.
Newtown-Lumsden Pastoral Charge's Facebook page is a place to connect, to give information about the work of our churches and the communities we serve. Following our mission statement, our goal is to make disciples - those who go into the world to live out the faith of Jesus. To do that, we need to promote and support the good works that God is working behind in our community by our members, by those loosely connected with our churches, by those who belong to other faith traditions and by those who have no connection to faith at all. As Jesus said, if they are not against you, they are for you, and we aim to make this space inclusive and dynamic and hope-filled.
