Social Media Policy

At NLOWE, our various social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) are part of an exciting conversation between real people. We are using social media to better connect with women in business and to help our members share information and experiences, learn about programs and events and network with other women business owners provincially, nationally and internationally. Because of the professional nature of our content, we have guidelines in place on what is appropriate interaction with NLOWE online.

Our Social Media team works diligently to post accurate, timely, relevant content. We strive to respond to feedback with respect and courtesy, and request our friends and fans do the same.

We encourage our community to share content with us such as photos and stories of their entrepreneurial experiences. We assume that anyone sharing content has the right to do so. Please do not post content or photos you do not have permission to post.

We welcome constructive feedback, but we reserve the right to remove any comments that are inappropriate due to foul language, attacking of a single person or group, unsupported accusations, or spam that explicitly promotes a product or service. We reserve the right to ban repeat offenders.

We do our best to respond to comments as quickly as possible, but sometimes there are delays. NLOWE office hours are from Monday to Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm (4:00pm during summer months). Please be patient with us as we do what we can to improve the experience of all of our members and friends.
