Building Blocks preschool offers an exciting combination of play-based and curriculum based activities for children aged 3 and 4.

At Building Blocks your child will learn to play and play to learn as they complete the gradual transition from home to Kindergarten. I offer a fun and secure environment with a variety of activities and themes. Instilling a love for school and learning is at the heart of my program. My belief is that children learn best through a stimulating hands-on experience, “Children Learn Best Through Play”. My goal is to provide a safe and stimulating environment that embraces learning through play where children can learn and grow socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and creatively at their own pace. The center fosters independence and self-confidence, cooperation and respect. Daily activities include story time, songs, games, arts and crafts, circle time, math, dramatic play, pre-writing skills and outdoor play. A nutritional snack is provided for each class.

Classes are available on Monday/Wednesday/Friday or on Tuesday/Thursday. The morning session is from 9am to 12pm and there is an afternoon session available from 1pm to 4pm. Children will be placed in a class according to age. Classes run from September to June.
