Focused on helping children with exceptionalities meet developmental milestones that will assist them in successfully integrating into the school system.
Blossom Child Development Centre is founded by two qualified Special Education teachers who together have over 15 years experience in the Newfoundland school system. At Blossom we offer programs with an individualized focus for children aged pre-school to 8 years old with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities. The program outcomes will target the following areas of need:
- social skills
- language development
- communication skills
- following directions
- fine and gross motor skills
- transitioning between activities
- pre-requisite academics
- sensory and self-regulation
We also offer family support through:
- encouraging the participation of siblings
- parental support groups
- advocacy services
