Vertgen Farms

Vertgen is a certified organic farm specializing in growing nutrient dense vegetables, fruit & nuts, and growing unique & heirloom cut-flowers arranged in hand-crafted bouquets, using sustainable agricultural practices in harmony with our local ecosystem. Located 10km West of Qualicum Beach, our fields are bursting with fruit and veg that reflect the season. From crunchy snap peas in the spring to deliciously plump heirloom tomatoes in the summer, and countless crops in-between, we harvest only the best of what is available to sell to restaurants and at farmers markets.
You can find us at the Qualicum Beach Farmers Market (every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - 12), or visit our rustic-roadside farm stand located on Spider Lake Road, open from 10:00 a.m. until dusk.
