Vermilion Bay Co-Op - 807-227-2160

The Vermilion Bay Co-Operative Ltd. began as the Waldhof Farmers Co-Operative, incorporated in 1919.
We moved to Vermilion Bay and became the Vermilion Bay Co-Operative in 1936.
The previous store was built in 1948. The old store was then used as a pool room which is now the site of the Machin Medical Clinic. In 1954 a building was built behind the existing store to accommodate our hardware and general merchandise. In 1964 an addition was added to the main story to house our hardware section. The building behind the existing store was then used by the Vermilion Bay Credit Union.
