Hand made multi media art inspired by the Canadian North.
Located in Coe Hill, Ontario, Canada
I live in a small cabin in the woods just south of Bancroft Ontario with my husband. We live very simply...on solar power and wood heat. I am surrounded by nature at its finest and appreciate every single moment of my surroundings.
My greatest inspiration comes from my memories of Algonquin Park and the miles I paddled with my father throughout the interior. I am also deeply inspired by the interplay of light and color and their capacity to project into a space and change that space throughout a single day.
All my works -- whether they are small or large, destined for public institutions, private residences, or galleries are products of my relationship to the world that surrounds me
My work with stained glass began only recently. However, I have over thirty years of painting behind me. While I have taken a few classes with glass artists, I am primarily self-taught.
I hope to enlighten and inspire you with the beauty of the natural world.
Please note that this art is NOT glass paint. Neither is it fused glass. There is no kiln involved.
