The Stonehouse Restaurant - Casual dining with charm
Nestled in the woods near Canoe Cove Marina and the BC Ferry terminal at Swartz Bay. The Stonehouse Restaurant building was built in 1935 by Hugh Rodd, originally as a family home. In 1985 the stone house became the Stonehouse Pub and since that time the establishment has been a landmark for friends, neighbours, ferry travellers and visitors to the Saanich Peninsula to enjoy.
As of October 1, 2012 the Stonehouse has a new ownership team who bring to the table over 30 years experience in all aspects of the hospitality industry throughout Canada. Their talents from operations to marketing and design, catering and expertise in the kitchen will revive and bring back the energy and reputation the Stonehouse once enjoyed and truly offer a memorable restaurant experience for all patrons.
The restaurant will offer a family friendly venue, offering a casual fine dining experience featuring Pacific Northwest cuisine.
The Pub offers a wide selection of beers on tap from around the world with an incredible international pub menu created and executed by our very own unforgettable restaurateur extraordinaire and host "Joe Kovacs".
