Homelessness, poverty, hunger, addiction, and lonliness are harsh realities for many in our community. We see the images everywhere and many struggle with what their response should be, often feeling overwhelmed and powerless to do anything of lasting significnace in response. locally The Salvation Army offers hope through a continuum of care providing a wide range of services, delivered by a compassionate staff who offer dignity and respect without discrimination. We believe that as we work together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of people in our community.
The Salvation Army Cascade Community Ministries of Abbotsford operates Cascade Community Church, The Centre of Hope ( including Meal Centre and Emergency Shelter), The Salvaion Army Thrift Stores in Abbotsford and Mission and Cascade Culinary Arts School.
