Alberta Backhoe Services was established in May of 2007. Focusing primarily on residential septic and rig excavation, one rubber-tired hoe was sufficient. However, the demand soon grew and our equipment fleet followed suit. A trackhoe, a few skid steers, several gravel trucks, a tractor / trailer unit, and equipment trailers joined the fleet with operators to run them. We soon expanded into complete acreage services, which included road/driveway construction, basement excavation, water well tie-ins, landscaping, and tree clearing.

It didn't take long before the question was asked, "Do you guys have a plumber?". Once the septic was complete on the outside of the residence, the next step was to tie it in on the inside. We took the leap of faith and The Plumbing Shoppe was birthed. We are proud to display beautiful fixtures in our showroom. With our knowledgeable team of plumbers, we do everything from service work (plumbing and heating) to new construction to water treatment to renovations. Our fully stocked warehouse encourages prompt repairs as well as over the counter sales.
