The Passionate Gardener opened in 2006, and I was a professional gardener/landscaper for eight years. Now, I am embarking on a career change, but since I can't leave the gardening world behind completely, I will be offering gardening classes and writing a gardening blog full of useful information for Calgary, Alberta and other colder climates. Calgary is in Zone 3, which means winter temperatures can get as low as -40 degrees Celsius. Gardening is not as easy as it is in more temperate climes, so you need all the help you can get!

The Passionate Gardener offers gardening classes for the whole family, and we can arrange small group classes on almost every gardening topic.
