About the artist

Doug's creative journey began at the early age of four years old! Drawing quickly became his creative outlet while undergoing chemotherapy treatments at the Hospital for Sick Children, in Toronto, Ontario. After a long encounter with brain cancer, Doug conquered his battle! However, he will suffer from severe vision loss for the remainder of his life.

His passion for comic books and Saturday morning cartoons inspired him to continue drawing. As he grew older, his creativity grew stronger.

Doug explored his career options, and pursued an educational experience from professionals in the tattoo industry. Now, more than 20 years after his venture began, he continues to push the envelope in whatever medium is available to him.

This new husband, and father-to-be, looks to share his amazing talent for creating images and art, with you!

Learn a thing or two from Doug!

Private art classes are available, for ages 8+. Learn a variety of techniques with watercolour, acrylic, or even just pencil. Whether this is your first time drawing, or just want to brush up on your skills, Doug will help you along the way.

Package:
6 classes @ one hour per class- $100

Bring your own supplies. Depending on what you want to learn, the necessary supplies will be discussed.

Lessons are held in Markham, or can be right in your own place! Let us, come to you! (within York Region).
