I have been designing and creating jewelry for nearly 10 years. My jewelry journey began with the loss of a family member. I fashioned her old costume jewelry into a lovely new bracelet that was modern and wearable while still preserving the vintage feel and the wonderful memories that I had of her. Before I knew it everyone was asking me to do the same for them. It's wonderful to be able to transform an old treasure into a new and exciting accessory or piece of "memory" jewelry to help someone celebrate a loved one or an occasion.

When I'm not custom designing for clients I love to search out old, unusual items and transform them into one of a kind wearable keepsakes for our ready to wear line which we sell on ETSY, on EBay and at Arts and Crafts shows across Ontario, Canada.

Collecting and creating is a family affair and I'm thankful for my wonderful family and friends who help me search out supplies at auctions, estate sales and antique markets. It's such fun to find a special piece, research it's history and design a piece of jewelry with it.

I believe that beautiful jewelry should be well made, affordable and accessible. Each piece of Nostalgia Girl jewelry is original and one of a kind; designed and hand crafted using traditional jewelry making techniques.
