This 150 year old Muskoka artists home is fully equipped with everything needed to make your retreat memorable. A lake view, steps to Gull Lake, shops, theater, restaurants, steamships & attractions.
There is a lovely 150 year old house in Gravenhurst that has always been a busy place.
It has housed many families and friends, and its history continues.
The current owner, sculptor Hilary Clark Cole, has always said that she feels as if she is just borrowing it for a while.
Her children grew up there, and now that the birds have flown, it is time for a new idea.
The Muskoka Quilter's Retreat
Two friends and neighbors, Susan Chute, owner of Four Ninety B&B, and Hilary, next door, have decided to try out this concept.
The house is really a home, and everyone who comes there feels the comfort.
Its desirable location in the charming Muskoka town of Gravenhurst, backing onto Gull Lake Park, a 10 minute walk to stores and entertainment, provides a perfect setting for your relaxing retreat.
There is no doubt that in the past others have pursued the traditional art of quilt making under this roof…how appropriate that it will happen again!
