This 1913 rental log cottage, renovated recently, is completely self-sufficient. It features a fully equipped kitchen with full stove and oven, refrigerator, microwave and more.

The bathroom has a shower stall, flush toilet and sink with vanity. (towels not supplied)

The comfortable living room boasts a Muskoka Stone fireplace with gas insert, satellite TV, VCR and DVD players, and a library with many, many old books.

There are two bedrooms, one overlooking the lake with a queen size bed, the other with a twin and one 3/4 size bed. A large sun room runs the length of the cottage with a dining table overlooking Oxtongue Lake and a captain's bed at the other end to offer an additional place for someone to sleep.

There is a screened porch with comfortable seating overlooking the grounds lakeside.

A Propane BBQ is provided for outdoor cooking and a canoe and paddle boat are available for those who wish to quietly explore the area by water.

A complete horseshoe pit is available for those “shoe pitching” game enthusiasts and a badminton / volleyball court is also available for those who play net games.

A one minute walk across Highway 60 takes you to Lobo’s General Store for groceries, gas, video rentals, bait, souvenirs, pay phone.
