Music Skills: my classes prepare your child for traditional music lessons, including piano, violin, and voice. In class, children experience steady beat (which is linked to speech and reading fluency, and athletic ability, too!) during bounces, clapping games, movement games and playing instruments. Playing instruments also supports ensemble skills (being able to play together in a group), and develop rhythmic skills. Songs and exploring the voice develop singing skills. In the Kindermusik for the Young Child progam (ages 5 - 7) we explore reading and writing music in the treble clef.
