Sugar Ridge was created from the imagination of Liz & Kurt Frost, the owners.
At Sugar Ridge, we host and facilitate retreats, teach yoga & other classes and have private cabin rentals to make your own relaxing holidays.
Sugar Ridge is open year round and easily accessible on paved roads. We're only just over an hour from the 401/400 junction, 30 minutes from Barrie and 10 minutes from beautiful Midland on Georgian Bay where there are a ton of things to do and see. As soon as you leave the highway, you start relaxing.
We're on the cusp of cottage country without the traffic and stress of getting to Muskoka. Our retreat centre's name came from the maple trees that provide our delicious maple syrup at breakfast. And maple trees in the fall are amazingly beautiful and colourful. Our winter wonderland is a white slice of peace and tranquility.
