Sidney Waterfront Inn & Suites, originally 'Hotel Sidney' was the first Hotel on the Saanich Peninsula, built in 1891 by Captain Bissett. Though the original hotel burnt down, it was rebuilt and has always been on the same site.
It was purchased by the Paquette family in 1963 and has undergone major renovations.
