Shire Hill Farm is the long awaited dream of growing 'Burlington Blueberries'. The farm has expanded from there adding other high nutritional fruits and vegetables including, hascap, seedless table grapes, asparagus, kale, garlic, purple onion,spinach ,lettuce, raspberries and asian pears. although we are not certified 'organic' we do our best to be environmentally responsible. We also produce unpasteurized sauerkraut (shirekraut), kimchi, 2 types of home made hummus and dehydrated kale chips coated with delicious hummus. The farm also offers local maple syrup and honey, Filsingers organic apple cider vinegar, sweet apple cider, apple or pear butter, apple or pear sauce. The farm is open year round by appointment and summer hours to be arranged around farmers market schedule. Shire Hill Farm will be represented at the Carnarvon and Haliburton farmers markets and also at the Bobcaygeon market this upcoming 2014 season!
