‘Reels’n’Strathspeys’ – Music & Entertainment

Scottish celebrations always include music and dance! We are proud to bring you continuous entertainment throughout Folkfest including crowd favourites, The Residuals, Kim n’ Jim as well as the Pipes and Drums. Don’t miss the Saskatoon Highland Dancers, the Glenlily Highland Dancers and Saskatoon Scottish Country Dancers. We are excited to bring back the Best Legs in a Kilt competition! Join us Friday and Saturday night for the best finale at Folkfest – the Massed Bands.

‘Wee Bairns’ – Children’s Activities

Kids can try their hand at famous Scottish sports – golf, ‘football’ and curling. Perhaps, if you are very lucky, you’ll catch a glimpse of the elusive Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster or the most famous Lass in Scotland, Princess Merida!

‘Fairn’ – Food

At the Swee and Spurtle, taste a variety of Scottish dishes such as Haggis, Rumbledethumps and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Choose your favourites or try a sampler plate. For light snacks and sweet treats head to Stirling Market for our famous Haggis Nachos, a Nessie Slushie, Scottie Dog Cookies, popcorn and more.

‘Bevvies’ – Drinks

At Poosie Nancy’s, find a Scottish beer, a wee dram from our selection of Scotches…or join the fun, shouting out “FREEDOM” as you enjoy our famous Dirty Wallace shooter. Learn about our finest Scotch at the tasting bar.

‘Margaid’ – Gifts, Treats & Souvenirs

Hunt for treasures from Scotland in the Margaid or Market where vendors offer an exciting variety of Scottish wares and treats.
