A certfied graduate of the Western Ranch & Cowhorse program, my primary focus is equine training, and sales. Located north of Brandon in Hamiota, MB.
Although I myself have moved for work closer to the Manitoba/Saskatchewan border, I am still training colts and putting miles on broke horses.
The facilities at Guardian Farms include two 24/7 acre turnouts, 10 and 2 acres, run-in barns, a 100' X 200' outdoor arena and a 50' round pen. Here, horses are adjusted to humans and worked with on manners and riding skills. .
Not only are we involved in in the horse world, but we are a Registered Kennel breeding purebred Rottweilers. Along with that, Guardian Farms also breeds purebred Jersey Giant Chickens.
With a lot more room than we needed for hay land, Guardian Farms is now involved in the project "Trees for Tomorrow". This means we've planted 50 acres of unused field into TREES!!! The forest will hopefully be converted into a hunter course... if I get my way... as well as a pasture for a larger turnout for additional horses.
