RE:ACT is a day program treatment centre which provides recovery education for addictions and complex trauma under the guidance of Finding Freedom.
Phase 1 is a general overview of addiction and complex trauma, where as Phase 2 and 3 is digging deeper into it, and dealing with every day life issues.
Phase 1 class topics: Intro to the brain, The Marks of Addiction/Stages of Change/Dual Addictions/Co-occurring Disorders, 50 Characteristics of Complex Trauma, Anger and Emotions, Relapse Warning Signs, Resentments, Conflict, Mindfulness/Grounding, Mental Health, Relationship-Trust in Recovery, Shame-Masks and Roles, Self-care/Time Management, Grief, Relationships-Red Flags, Boundaries, Supports
Phase 2 class topics: Complex Trauma, Healing from Shame, Anger Management/Resentments, Emotions- De-escalating, Conflict/Assertiveness/Communication, Relationships-Trust and Respect, Boundaries, Grief and Letting Go, Relapse Prevention
Phase 3 is suited to be an individualized program, where you can be working or going to school, and therefore can come to the program full time, part time, days or evenings.
Some optional activities and classes that we have and can provide: Parenting, Budgeting, Painting, Meditation, Spirituality, Guitar lessons, Baking, Cooking, Self-harm, Eating Disorders, Mental Health, Yoga, Exercise, Art, Music, etc.
We have three different phases, depending on where you are at in your recovery. Phase 1 is 4 weeks, Phase 2 is 8 weeks, and Phase 3 is long term, open-ended.
We offer classes, group therapy, counselling, and activities.
