Library cards are FREE for residents of the Town of Rainy River, the Township of Dawson, the Township of Lake of the Woods, and the Township of Morley. A resident is someone who lives in or pays taxes in these places. Cards are also free for members of the Arrowhead Regional Library in Baudette, Minnesota, and the Big Grassy River First Nation Public Library near Morson. You must present your Baudette card to receive your membership at Rainy River. Children must have a parent or guardian co-sign their membership. Non-residents may buy a card for $25 per year. If you are only here for the summer, you can buy a six-month membership for $10 plus a $15 deposit. We will refund your deposit when you return your card. If you lose your library card, tell us as soon as possible. The replacement card fee is $1. Please show your card on each visit to the library. Staff will update your personal information every two years. Please report changes of address or telephone number as soon as possible.
