Positive Paw offers dog walking (In mount albert and surrounding areas), dog training, and in home consultations for behavioural issues.

Over the years I ams sad to say I have used such means as choke chains, leash pops, or even the alpha rollover - and I learned that these aversive methods do more damage then good, especially to your overall relationship.

With a focus on positive reinforcement training, I use a blend of Operant and Classical Conditioning to ensure your dog understands what is being expected from them.

A brief history:
From the time I was born I was surrounded by dogs, raised amongst Dobermans, Rottweillers, and Bouviers. I could always be found out in a field training and playing with the family dogs. In 1998 my entrance into the obedience training world began when I enrolled my young female Akita into local classes. I was hoooked, I was in my element, and I was in love.
The head trainer asked me to begin assisting in classes for her and other trainers.

Over the years I have assisted for and taught obedience classes including puppy, obedience, and agility for fun. I have travelled for seminars and conferences, and have stayed active in learning.

I am over the moon with excitement at bringing this, my own, business forward as it has been 10 years a dream of mine.
