La Galerie POPOP est un espace locatif situé dans le Belgo qui accepte les projets d'exposition en art actuel en tout temps.

La Galerie POPOP est un espace locatif géré par, pour et avec la communauté en art actuel dont tous les profits sont réinvestis dans la programmation du centre d'artistes CIRCA art actuel.

Situé dans l’édifice Belgo, qui comporte plus de 25 galeries et centres d’artistes, ce lieu offre une visibilité accrue aux artistes en raison de son fort nombre de visiteurs, principalement des amateurs et des connaisseurs du milieu de l’art contemporain.

La Galerie POPOP offre aux artistes, commissaires, galeristes et collectifs émergents et professionnels des tarifs abordables fixés selon les périodes d’achalandage de l’édifice.

Toutes les personnes souhaitant présenter une exposition à la Galerie POPOP doivent soumettre une proposition de projet à un comité composé d’artistes professionnels et de personnes œuvrant dans le milieu des arts actuels au Québec. Ce processus vise non seulement à assurer un niveau soutenu dans les projets présentés à la Galerie POPOP, mais permet également de faire circuler le travail de l’artiste auprès de pairs par des procédures professionnelles.

L’appel est ouvert en tout temps, et permet donc aux artistes d’avoir un choix flexible de plages d’expositions.

POPOP Gallery is a rental space managed by, for and with the contemporary art community. All profits are reinvested in the programmation of the artist run center CIRCA art actuel.

POPOP Gallery offers to emerging and professional artists, curators, gallery owners and collectives affordable rates fixed according to the different traffic periods of the building.

Everyone who wish to present an exhibition at POPOP Gallery must submit a project proposal to a committee composed of professional artists and people working in the arts in Quebec. This process is to ensure a sustained level in the projects presented at POPOP Gallery, and to make the work of the artists circulate among professional peers.

The call is open at all times and thus enables artists to have a flexible choice of exhibits ranges.
