Parkview Services for Seniors is comprised of two Ontario Non-Profit Corporations.
The Mennonite Home Association of York County was formed in 1964 to meet the need for of a Senior Citizen’s Home in Whitchurch –Stouffville area. A 63 bed care Home opened in 1965 on Rupert Avenue and a further 49 beds were added in 1971. Residents and staff moved to a new building on Weldon Road in September 2006. This 128 bed Long-Term Care Home is fully accredited with commendation.
The Parkview Village Retirement Community Association of York Region was formed in 1984, to operate a 124 unit rental apartment building which provides for independent living along with a variety of supportive services in collaboration with care partners.
In 1989, The Parkview Village Cluster Homes for Seniors Association of York Region was formed to provide an independent living environment under a life lease model.
