Hi there, my name is Nicole Hoessl. I offer a wide variety of horse training in the Pincher Creek Alberta area, I have years of experience with horses from ranch work all of my childhood to starting colts on the ranch from the time I was about ten years old. As the years went on I started taking in other people’s horses for training, putting a solid start on their colts, refining & fine tuning their horses to putting a solid barrel pattern on their horses as well as working through any issues the owner may be experiencing with their horse.
My passion & love of horses began at a very young age. I grew up on a ranch in British Columbia and started working with horses as a child. Growing up on a cattle ranch was an amazing experience. From a very young age I've been involved in many aspects of riding including gymkhanas, rodeos, barrel racing & also rode on a drill team for a few years.
I strongly believe that a solid foundation will give you a solid horse. My horse training is a combination of groundwork, arena work & trail riding. I focus on softness, no bracing throughout your horse’s entire body. I am a patient, calm & soft handed rider and am a very strong believer in a resistance free body & mind, I believe once we have that they will give us their entire trust, their heart & soul. I feel with my many years of experience & understanding of horses & involvement in competition I can help enhance the relationship between many horse & rider combinations.
