Founded in 1967. Over 185 members who have a passion for creativity and art. Membership is open to visual artists and those who support and promote local art. All are welcome to attend our monthly membership meetings and bring a guest!
The Oshawa Art Association was founded in 1967. By the end of the first year, the OAA had 150 members and has been holding strong every since.
Meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday of the month (except July) at 7 p.m. at the Arts Resource Centre where members get the chance to mingle and attend a presentation or live demonstration by local/ national quest speakers. At present, there are over 185 members.
2017 marks it's 50th year, providing Oshawa and the Durham Region with the most diverse local talent!
