Laurie's Bio
Born and raised in a rural farming community in the scenic Ottawa Valley, Laurie Clouthier originally relocated to Toronto to pursue her career. After realizing that she was missing her small town roots, she discovered the town of Schomberg where she settled to raise her family. The endless beauty found in the Schomberg area farmlands inspired her to pursue photography as a means to capture the natural beauty of the area, the ever changing landscapes, the seasonal shifts in colour and light and the feelings those images create. Laurie continues to explore new photographic disciplines but among her favourites are landscapes, florals, macro and children’s natural light portraiture.
