Llocated approx. 30 miles north of Jellicoe, Ontario on the Onaman river where it flows into spectacular Lake Nipigon via Humboldt Bay.
Set amongst a backdrop of pines and rock out- crops in the heart of the Canadian shield the resort is ideally situated for access to the more remote northern end of lake nipigon and is one of only 6 launch sites on the entire lake. while lake nipigon itself offers what is possibly the best lk.trout and brook trout fishing in the world

It also holds some impressive northern pike, and walleye in the tributaries and select areas of the lake. Likewise the vast boreal forest is dotted with lakes, rivers and creeks providing some amazing angling opportunities for walleye, northern`s and trout alike. the abundance and diversity of both the wildlife and scenery provides some fantastic photo opportunities and much of the area is accessible via a network of logging roads and trails from days gone by as the area`s history is as rich as the landscape, from the early days of the log drive booming wood, to the site which the resort now
occupies that originated as a German POW
internment camp during WW11.

Whether it`s fishing on lake nipigon in pursuit of that once in a lifetime trout, taking the opportunity to fish some of the numerous area lakes and streams or just simply taking a leisurely paddle down the Onaman river to experience the great Ontario out- doors and enjoy all it has to offer we provide a variety of
