The Old Road Soap Company Story:
As a third-year university student majoring in entrepreneurial studies, I was tasked with creating a small business. Although I have enjoyed my time in Halifax, the sights, sounds and scents of home were never far from my mind. I made the decision to return home, to the beautiful North Shore of New Brunswick to undertake my entrepreneurial adventure. I knew I would never be content living somewhere other than this beautiful place with its amazing scenery and friendly people, so I have launched the Old Road Soap Company with all the wonderful scents of Northern New Brunswick in mind. I want to create a product that people will use to unwind and relax and at the same time remind them of the beauty of New Brunswick. That’s why every soap is named in honour of a different community along the old road that follows the North Shore. All of my soaps, bath bombs, and scented candles are handcrafted on my family farm in Belledune using high quality, plant-based oils, and other natural ingredients. You will not find any harsh detergents or environmentally harmful ingredients in Old Road Soaps.
