NSN is a non-profit organization that launched a Day Program partnered with CLSD (Community Living Service Delivery) and Social Services in 2014.

NSN (North Sask Special Needs) was established in 2002. In 2003 and 2004, NSN ran a summer recreation program in La Ronge for people with cognitive challenges. In 2004 NSN incorporated, with funding from Mamawetan Churchill River Health Authority. In 2007, NSN was able to hire a part-time Executive Director, as well as two staff to start Scattered Outreach Project (SSOP). Its purpose is to assist individuals struggling with addictions, homelessness and other disabilities.

In 2009, NSN re-located to the Lampwick Building and opened a drop-in centre, which provides outreach services for individuals. These services focus on transient people with addictions and support all areas of life. Scattered Site also provides a nutritious lunch five days a week and partners with the La Ronge Food Bank. It has approximately 7500 visitors annually. In February 2012, 30 Scattered Site participants signed declarations of homelessness.

In 2014, NSN partnered with CLSD(Community Living Service Delivery) and Social Services to launch a Day Program for individuals with cognitive disabilities, addictions, and/or dual diagnoses. In 2015, NSN hired a SILP (Supported Independent Living Program) worker, two Day program Workers, an Executive Director and a Program Coordinator.
