Northland Design Studio offers design and project management services for a wide range of architectural and landscape design projects in the Greater Moncton area. As the Principal/Owner, Gordon oversees all projects personally, collaborating regularly with a number of talented local design and engineering firms to produce high value, focused services for clients. Major projects have included new and upgraded sports fields, components of the Moncton trail system, apartment buildings, private residences, sports and tourism buildings, corporate facility site development, new and upgraded municipal park projects, as well as facility life safety assessments and project scope development. In addition the firm supports local municipal and private operations by providing expertise applied to many smaller upgrade and repair projects.

Gordon is an architect and a landscape architect with over 23 years of wide ranging experience on a diverse portfolio of projects in both the private and public sectors. He brings extensive planning, project management, and detail technical skills to project work, in addition to experience in sustainable design, universal accessibility, and facility renewal.

Prior to establishing NDS in January 2010, Gordon worked as the Senior Landscape Architect for the Parks Department of the City of Moncton. Previous to locating from Winnipeg in 2006 he worked with the Province of Manitoba as a project manager and for several private architectural design firms.

Gordon served as a jury member for the 2009 and 2010 Canadian Society of Landscape Architects National Design Awards of Excellence program. He is currently the President-Elect of the Atlantic Provinces Association of Landscape Architects.
