Owned and operated by the Gitmaxmak'ay Nisga'a Society, the Nisga'a Hall is a versatile and affordable venue for hosting a variety of events.
The Nisga'a Hall has over 3500 square feet of open floor space, and a seating capacity of 296 people. The Hall also has a fully-equipped kitchen available for rent with a commercial refrigerator, stovetop, oven, griddle, dishwasher, microwaves, coffee urns, ice machine, and more.
Extras products and services include jumbo scooters, indoor bowling set, LCD projector and screen, wedding arch, early facility access, setup and takedown services.
Rental Terms & Conditions:
1. A refundable security deposit of $100 is required for Main Hall events; $50 for Multipurpose Room rentals; $200 for liquor/gaming events. Reservations are completed upon confirmation of payment in full. The security deposit is fully refundable when all terms and conditions of this contract have been met. The keys for the facility will not be released until full payment is received.
2. Any damages to the interior or exterior of the facility or equipment caused by any member of the renting party shall be the full financial responsibility of the renter.
3. Access to the Hall is available only on the day of the event. For an additional fee of $100, renters may secure access to the Hall at 6pm the day before an event, depending on availability.
4. All renters have 1.5 hours before and 1.5 hours after their scheduled event times to setup and cleanup. All gaming/liquor event rentals have until 1130am the following morning to cleanup.
5. The undersigned of the rental agreement is responsible for the Hall and the issued keys. All personal items must be removed from the facility immediately and keys must be returned by the following business day unless otherwise mutually agreed upon by the renter and the Society.
i. In the event that keys are lost or misplaced by the renter, the renter is fully responsible for all costs associated with changing the facility locks.
6. The Society is not liable for any accidents, damages, injuries, or lost or stolen property that occurs during the function.
i. Bouncy Castle renters are responsible for maintaining the rules of the equipment and are wholly responsible for any potential injuries or damages associated or that may occur with operation of the castle.
7. All tables and chairs will be set up, taken down and stored properly by the renter of the hall unless otherwise agreed upon with the Society for an additional cost.
8. Staples, nails, thumbtacks, and confetti are not to be used in the building.
9. Bathrooms will be fully stocked; renters are responsible for any additional supplies required. No hazardous material is allowed inside the building.
10. All kitchen appliances and other equipment must be cleaned and all garbage put out. Failure to comply will result in an additional clean-up charge of $50.
11. Management reserves the right to refuse rentals at any time.
