I am an Early Childhood Educator who graduated in 2006 in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. I have worked in several childcare settings with a variety of ages (preschoolers, toddlers, and infants in addition to school aged children in before- and after-school programs).
I greatly enjoyed my time spent at each position but with having my own small son now, I am embracing a new challenge: providing childcare in my home.
I truly believe in the importance of the early years and how they are foundational to children’s learning. Learning can be encouraged through free play and a variety of planned activities. Children also benefit from each other as they play and explore in a mixed age group setting.
