Mayne Island in British Columbia's Southern Gulf Islands annual Fall Fair. In 2018 we celebrate our 93rd fair. Join us on August 18th from 10 am to 4 pm.
An important means of raising funds for the society is the running of the Thrift Store - across the road from the hall at 430 Fernhill Road.
Clean, used items can be donated (intake is Wednesday mornings from 9am to 11 am). These items are resold at very low prices. The proceeds are donated to community projects such as the Firemen's Halloween Night, The community Christmas bonfire, the Health Clinic, bursaries for students enrolled in post secondary education, summer youth programs ....
The store is run entirely by volunteers and is open Saturday mornings from 10 am until 1 pm.
