Mario Berno and Thea Stayanovich are two full time REALTORS® dedicated to their professions and their clients. Together they are a combination of experience, knowledge and youthful enthusiasm.

Mario Berno, a Trail native, fluent in English and Italian started his real estate career in 1987 in the Vancouver’s Kitsilano/West Side area. He found his way back to the South Kootenay yearning his family and the distinct four seasons, notably the summer and winter where he followed his passion for snow skiing and water skiing.

He is a well rounded REALTOR® with loads of experience in all aspects of real estate including residential real estate and development projects, specifically the success of the adult Lifestyle community at Waneta Village and vacation resort property at Christina Lake.

A strong family man and community supporter Mario has been involved with such organizations and committees as the Colombo Lodge(Past President/Grand Marshal), the Lower Columbia Community Development Team, and Winter Games.

Thea Stayanovich raised on Vancouver Island, started her real estate career in 2008 in Williams Lake. She relocated to the beautiful Greater Trail area, for her love of family and the Kootenay lifestyle.

Thea has experience in not only residential real estate, but substantial knowledge in acreages and rural properties. Previous to her real estate career she attended Thompson Rivers University where she received her diploma in Applied Business Technology.

Thea is a community advocate, being involved in organizations such as the Trail and District Chamber of Commerce(Vice President), Home of Champions Society, Kootenay South Youth Soccer Association, and the Beaver Valley Nitehawks Hockey Club.
