A Fundraising Project of the Mississauga Central Lions Club. Our markets offer fresh produce & much more at two locations (Sun & Wed) June-October annually
The Mississauga Central Lions Club has run Farmers Markets in what is now downtown Mississauga since 1975. First know as the Square One Farmers Market, we re-branded to "Lions Farmers Market" in 2013. to better represent what and how the Market benefits our community. Funds raised from market operations are donated to many beneficial causes in the community (see the list at http://bit.ly/Organizationssupported).
Our ‘Lions Farmers Market’ is a convenient source of fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables, garlic, specialty meats, breads, cracked corn, honey and much, much more in walking distance from Mississauga City Hall.
We currently have two locations:
1) on Wednesdays we are on "Celebration Square" in front of Mississauga City Hall from 9AM to 5PM from early June through late October annually.
2) We are also open on Sundays in the parking lot of 3 Robert Speck Parkway (alongside Shipp Drive) from 8AM - 4PM, from early June through the end of October annually.
