Lindsays Homestead is a home based business where you can get hand made items as well as handspun yarns from local fleece and fibre

Lindsay's Homestead was started in 2007 when my family moved to our own little homestead. I found it very hard to find products that were handmade and from local materials, so I started making my own. Taking it one step further I learned how to produce my own hand spun yarns.

Most of my materials are from farms located within 50kms of our homestead. I do the majority of my own processing and dyeing right here in my home or backyard.

All of my handmade items are made by me in my home. I get great joy from creating and sometimes designing these wonderful items. There is nothing so wonderful as having something that was made just for you!!.

The knowledge of how something was made and where the materials came from is an amazing thing. We know the joy that can come from a handmade item and the thrill of tasting something that is fresh and home made. We are now at the point where we can share this with others. Being able to bring our products to others for their enjoyment is a dream come true.
