Our boats are built with quality to ensure the highest degree of safety when boating and fishing in our Canadian cold and rough waters.
Our facilities consist of two shops. The hulls are manufactured at our fiberglass shop in Pondville and can be sold as kits at any stage of completion or as finished products. The Mouse Island Marine Centre is our newest shop and is home to our 150-ton marine TraveLift, marine store, storage and maintenance facility.

We are very proud of our heritage as we marry old time proven tradition with modern technologies for state of the art boat construction.
In Nova Scotia, the building of yachts goes back farther than many people might imagine. The Royal Nova Scotia Yacht Squadron (RNSYS), located in Halifax and founded in 1837, lays claim to being the oldest yacht club in North America. As early as the 1840s yachts were being built in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
Samson Enterprises are known for building boats that are safe, durable, and seaworthy. We are proud of our record in building boats suitable for rough Canadian cold waters captained by rough and rugged fisherman. This provides us the peace of mind in knowing that if our standards are high for the fishing industry, we can replicate them for the pleasure market.
Isle Madame is an island located off the South Coast of Cape Breton Island that has supported fishing ports since the Europeans first started fishing off North America.
The shop’s craftsman take pride in the rugged seaworthy craft that they produce from their high quality moulds. The boats are sold as kits at any stage of completion or as finished products. Samson Enterprises produce serious inshore and offshore fishing boats up to 65' and boats for recreational use. The Samson 28' is produced for customers from Newfoundland to Florida. Our newest model, the Magna Line, is offered as a semi-custom boat. It can be all work or all play or anything in between.
