Welcome to Lake Kagawong Family Cabins, the perfect place for that special family vacation and a back-to-nature feeling. We are located on Lakeshore road, just minutes from Kagawong, home of the beautiful Bridal Veil Falls.

All of the cabins are situated on the lakeshore of Lake Kagawong, which is the second largest lake on the island, and sheltered under many tall and stately trees. Relax and unwind while enjoying the beautiful lake views and the unforgettable sunsets from your own private deck overlooking the water.

Each of our two bedroom cabins have fully equipped kitchens, sitting and dining areas, showers and wood or oil stoves. Bed linens are not provided. The cabins also include a barbeque and individual lakeside fire pits for those who like to cook over the open flame or enjoy an evening campfire.

There is a safe shallow swimming area that is great for the whole family to enjoy plus paddleboats for more fun and exercise in the crystal clear waters of lake Kagawong.

For the fishermen, Kagawong offers excellent fishing for perch, bass and pike and in nearby lakes you can also fish for walleye, speckled trout, whitefish and salmon. We have bait available and offer a screen enclosed fish cleaning hut. Boat and motor rentals are available as well as gas and oil.

We are centrally located with easy access to discover and explore all that Manitoulin has to offer, hiking trails, beaches, golf courses, horseback riding and so much more. The Island’s crystal clear lakes and unmasked beauty beckons the fishermen and naturalist alike to come and enjoy nature at its finest.

Each cottage has its own picnic area with table and chairs, BBQ and fire pit. Cottages are fully furnished with sitting and dining area, bed linens are not provided but can be provided upon special request. All cottages are equipped with electric stoves, microwaves, refrigerators, showers, hot and cold running water and flush toilets.

For the fisherman, we have bait, a screened enclosed fish cleaning building and freezer service. Boat and motor rentals are available as well as gas and oil. Paddle boats are free of charge for guest use. Firewood is available at a nominal fee. A creek populated with crayfish, minnows, frogs and baby catfish flows through the property and into the lake.
