This is Tierra Viva Gardens' second season. The gardens are located only 30 minutes south of Montreal (St-Jacques-le-Mineur).
About the farmer:
The gardens were created by young farmer Cinthya Leyva Mancilla. It is the outcome of Cinthya's education in Environmental Biology and Plant Science, as well as 2 years of experience working at an organic farm in Quebec's Eastern Townships. Cinthya is passionate about sustainable agriculture and making top quality fresh produce available to local communities.
Is it organic?
All produce is grown with utmost care and without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, fungicides or fertilizers. Organic certification is expected for the 2016 season.
