Ingersoll Parks & Recreation Dept provide a wide range of programs and services that enhance the quality of life and promote a healthy and active community
* Programming of recreation, aquatic, fitness and leisure activities for all ages and abilities
* Maintaining parkland, playground equipment, sports fields, outdoor washrooms, municipal flower beds and recreational trails
* Maintaining various indoor recreation facilities (Victoria Park Community Centre, Ingersoll District Memorial Arena, Fusion Youth Activity & Technology Centre)
* Scheduling of sports fields (baseball diamonds, soccer fields) and indoor recreation facilities (arena, auditorium, meeting rooms, pool, squash courts)
* Working with community groups and planning special events
* Promotion and advertising of department programs and services
* Long range planning and the development of new parks, facilities and programs to meet the leisure needs of the community
