Inga Spatari PhD, Registered Acupuncturist and TCMP, Medical Doctor (Internationally trained), Lecturer at Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine
I obtained my PhD and Master of Science in Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine [TCM] at Tianjin University of TCM, for which reason I completed 8 years of studies and scientific research in China. At the same time I am an Internationally Trained Medical Doctor in Western Medicine, graduated with honors from the Faculty of General Medicine at State Medical and Pharmaceutical University “Nicolae Testemitanu”, Republic of Moldova in 1997. Award-winner of 3 International Grants: 1. Foreign Students Scholarship (2000). 2. Outstanding Foreign Students Scholarship from UNESCO (2002). 3. Outstanding Foreign Students Scholarship from UNESCO (2005).
Having my career in Acupuncture started in 1997, I got broad clinical experience and have done researches in several directions: Treatment and rehabilitation after Traumatic Brain Injury with acupuncture and herbal medicine; Treatment of Psychosomatic disease, Insomnia; The management of metabolic and endocrine disorders, particularly treatment of Hyperthyroidism with acupuncture and herbal medicine.
Attended eight International Symposiums of Chinese Medicine, six in China and two in Toronto. Gave one presentation at International Symposium. Have two publications.
After graduating my PhD in 2008, I worked as Acupuncturist at Beijing International Medical Center, China, then went back to Moldova, where worked as Acupuncturist at Clinic “Sancos” Chisinau.
In September 2010 came to Canada.
Since October 2010 – self employed Registered Acupuncturist, TCM Practitioner, and College lecturer at Ontario College of TCM, Markham;
2011- Rg. Acupuncturist at Wellness Center Mayfair Parkway Sport Club, in Markham; since 2014th – Rg. Acupuncturist and TCM Practitioner at York Academy of Chinese Medicine, Vaughan.
