La Ligue de Régates d’Hydroplanes, ou Hydroplane Racing League, voit le jour en 2016 sur les bases de l’Association canadienne d’hydroplane (ACHA). Depuis 2011, l’ACHA aura permis au sport de croître, notamment en créant une structure opérationnelle performante, avec le développement d’une réglementation efficace et de nouveaux sites de compétition.

La HRL est déterminée à faire évoluer le monde des courses d’hydroplanes en le positionnant comme un sport majeur et en lui donnant une image forte.

Le calendrier compte présentement 10 courses, s’étendant de juin à septembre et attirant des milliers de spectateurs à chaque événement. De Stuart, en Floride, à Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, en passant par les Mille-Îles, chacun des sites se démarque par sa magnificence et la compétitivité des circuits. La HRL est toujours à l’affût de nouveaux parcours et de nouvelles équipes de passionnés afin de promouvoir ce sport d’adresse et d’adrénaline.

The Hydroplane Racing League was created in 2016 on what the Canadian Hydroplane Association (ACHA) had built over the years. Since 2011, the ACHA helped the sport grow by setting an efficient operational framework, implementing clear regulations and finding new racing sites.

The HRL is now focused on developing the hydroplane racing industry and taking the sport to another level by giving it a strong image.

The calendar now includes 10 races, spread from June to September, and attracts thousands of spectators to each event. From Stuart, Florida, to Salaberry-de-Valleyfield and the Thousand Islands, each site stands out by its incomparable beauty and the competitiveness of its racetracks. The HRL is always on the lookout for new sites and passionate teams to promote this sport of skills and adrenaline.
