Hope Mission in Wetaskiwin has been a part of the community for nearly a decade and we want to inform you of our ongoing local events and programs.

We are making a difference in Wetaskiwin:
– feeding kids, building relationships with kids through an after school program and providing life-changing nature experiences at Bethany Homes

Main Programs:

1) Food for Thought

We serve healthy lunches to kids who were coming to school either without a lunch, or without a proper lunch. Our Food For Thought program is so well received that we now serve lunches in 14 Wetaskiwin schools.

2) Kids in Action

Kids in Action provides after-school care, and a meal, to kids in need. We are currently offering Kids In Action at 4 Wetaskiwin schools.

3) Bethany Homes

Located 14km east of Wetaskiwin, Bethany Homes is situated on 140 beautiful acres. Bethany Homes is a Hope Mission ministry offering opportunities for gardening. Making this program available to local schools and groups, we hope to partner with our community in delivering a support service for children and youth.

4) Horses of Hope

Horses of Hope at Bethany Homes exists to develop character in the lives of youth in the Wetaskiwin area. Hope Mission desires to not only offer youth a safe environment to improve their horsemanship skills but also to build character and learn a foundation of faith. As these young people expand their thinking in regard to themselves, others, and God, they will equipped with the tools to positively contribute to their families and their community.

For kids these programs mean a future without hunger, homelessness or addiction.
