Greater Sudbury Modelers is one of three MAAC sanctioned RC model flying clubs in Greater Sudbury.
The others are Cambrian RC Fliers and SMAC {Sudbury Model Aircraft Club}. We are a non profit
organization devoted to the enjoyment and improvement of the hobby.
We have pilots that are experienced in training, scale models, jets and helicopters, 3D and
aerobatic flying. New for the 2013 is the rc buggy race track. We also have many that just like
to go out and fly their latest creation for the fun of it.
Weather permitting you can find some of us at the field or track on weekends and some evenings.
The field is open 7 days a week for pilots to fly and to race your rc vehicles. During the summer
months we occaisionally have funflys where eveyone is invited for a day of flying, getting together and to enjoy a BBQ.
Spectators are always welcome
