The emphasis is on the individual student, with lessons that address each person's musical tastes and goals. I try to develop a strong one-to-one relationship with each student that will endure and contribute to the learning process.

Start by learning basic chords that will enable you to play a wide range of music. Styles include Classic and Contemporary Rock, Pop, Funk, Blues, Fingerstyle, Folk and more.

Learn the skills and knowledge needed for soloing.

Learn simple (and fascinating) music theory as it relates to the guitar.

Get creative and accomplish whatever you set your mind to.

I teach all ages. References gladly provided.


BAND WORKSHOPS (regular & Summer)

One of the best ways to improve as a guitarist is to play with other musicians, and I highly encourage it. All students are invited to participate in Band Workshops, held monthly in my studio. Live performances are held near the end of the school year.
